WUI Design Challenge

Recognizing evidence-based, human-centered design work with real-world impact.

About the initiative

Evidence that user research and evaluation changed design outcomes.

The WUI Design Challenge recognizes projects that show how user research, usability evaluation, accessibility, and human-centered design can improve products, services, and systems.

The challenge highlights work that connects research and evaluation to design decisions and meaningful outcomes. It creates visibility for strong design work, supports emerging voices, and helps demonstrate why usability belongs in conversations about technology, public interest, sustainability, education, health, and civic life.

What this initiative does

Invites submissions from designers, students, researchers, practitioners, and teams; recognizes strong examples of user-centered design; connects winners with professional visibility; and builds a growing library of usability in action.
